After a desperate all-out war modern civilisation is in ruins, and the mankind as we know it is hanging by a thread.
Surviving women retreat to underground shelter. Led by their president they fight the ever present menace. Best of their warriors are sent to the surface to retreive samples of uninfected male DNA and thus breed new life in their labs.
Cathryn is the best and toughest soldier of all. Embarking on a new mission to the surface, she encounter a mutant specimen that is capable of communication. She realizes that the creature is more human then has been believed and not all is lost for humankind.
Now she is faced with a tough question whether destroying the mutants is the only way. There is hope after all, but life of Cathryn and her partner Mel is in great danger when the president has plans her own…
